About the Show

This lively English-language show with host Wendy Winn gives local people a showcase to talk about their activities, events and interests. You never know exactly what to expect, except a good mood, lots of talk and a little music that usually fits the theme. As a poet, writer and artist herself, Wendy particularly likes to give local writers and artists a voice and help them promote their work, but she also loves talking (in general!) about anything from the local film and photography festivals to DYI kombucha and what it takes to be a doula in the Grand Duchy. Her guests have ranged from local VIPS including ambassadors and government ministers to an entire Irish band, hockey players and part of the polo team, and she’s also interviewed internationally renowned people like founder of the Zero Waste movement, Bea Johnson; US author and former VP of talent and development at Comedy Central Tara Shuster, and US actor and author Royce Christyn. Long-term listeners have heard everything from throat singing and guided meditations, scary stories penned by members of the Writers Who Talk asbl, tales of mountain trekking and ghost encounters, live music performances, jokes and satire, lots of unsolicited but well intentioned advice. And they keep tuning in to hear more of what they expect to hear – the unexpected!
