About this Episode

Today we have Lara and Emily Grogan with us. They’re sisters and have been making music for a long time. They write their own songs, record albums, and play at concerts and festivals. Each of them does it on her own.
Lara describes her music as a mix of pop, folk, and classical. She recently performed at Rockhal with a new project — songs based on Luxembourgish legends and stories.
Emily says her style is alternative indie. She’s performing tomorrow, April 19, in Luxembourg, at Constitution Square near the Gëlle Fra monument.
We talked to Lara and Emily about music, writing songs — for themselves and for others, where they find inspiration, and if there’s any creative competition between them. We also asked how they get ready to perform in front of an audience. And much more! Tune in soon to hear our chat.
