Welcome to the first edition of Cosmic Trigger in 2025.
The show began with a tribute to Inger Lorre, who passed away from cancer in October 2024. Naturally, her hit Sad & Damned from her most famous band, The Nymphs, had to be played.
After Alex introduced three new tracks from Generation Z in the Red King segment, there was an interview with another Alex: Alex Miranda from Pleasing. He presented some excerpts from the new album and enthusiastically promoted the CD release party on Saturday, January 18, at the Kulturfabrik in Esch/Alzette. The opening act, Emeraude Stone, was also introduced, and by the end of the interview, Obi and Lex agreed that it promised to be a fantastic evening.
Following that, a selection of fresh tracks from hot bands like Bloodywood, Team Scheisse, Blood Incantation, Isaurian, Sonja, and Neumatic were presented.
To wrap up the January edition of Cosmic Trigger, the interview with Martti Mäkkelä was replayed, which originally aired on the show Der Daiwel steet virun der Dier on January 5, 2025. The dark folk musician shared stories of the hardships of life on tour, revealing himself to be a true survivor, while also expressing his admiration for the French rock scene.
